Petting" is another word for mutual masturbation. It usually occurs when a couple (often teenagers) "makes out" with their clothes on. Petting is a form of foreplay and can sometimes lead to sex but not always. It's "dry sex" so it can help a couple savor the moment when they actually start sexual intercourse if both parties (especially the woman) have already had an orgasm. Sometimes a person feels strong sexual attraction another, but isn't quite ready for intercourse, this is when petting comes in. It can relieve a lot of tension and frustration for a couple who plan to wait.
A big part of petting involves kissing. The kissing leads to touching,
caressing, and massaging; either with the man massaging the woman's breast,
nipples, and clitoris or the woman doing the same to his scrotum and penis,
or simultaneous pleasuring of each other. Men and women are not built
the same so there are certain aspects which each enjoy.
Some Men Like...
- kisses and caresses, and being sucked and stroked all over their bodies.
- their genital stimulated (although it is in the woman's interest to prolong foreplay and delay genital caressing until they are ready for penetration.
- their buttocks stroked, kneaded or smacked.
- their scrotums and testes held of squeezed.
Some Women Like...
- kisses and caresses, and being sucked and stroked all over their bodies (however, keep initial caresses in areas other than the breasts and genitals. Once they get really aroused, go for it.)
- their breasts and bottoms stimulated (stoke carefully until she's highly aroused)
- passionate kissing, sucking and stroking.
- their buttocks caressed or squeezed (some gentle smacking).
